Our nostalgia toy store offers a unique selection of toys for children and ‘those young at heart’. We are focused on bringing back the retro toys that we grew up with . The toys in stock are in a variety of material from the old tin toys and hand made wooden toys. Some toys are handcrafted in Southern Alberta. We have built wood toys and gone to Christmas markets for 20+ years and have found a need for the old style toys year round.
We wanted to have a store that would encourage a happy place for customers as they shopped for their children and grandchildren. It is funny as people walk in the store and start saying “Oh my gosh I remember that”
The store is here to return young and young at heart to get back to the simpler way of play with less focus on the tech gadgets and provide toys and candy made from the heart by the hands of quality craftsmen & artisans are much needed in a world full of grandiose living.
Did you know that Remember When Candies and Toys & Engaging Minds share the same location? We purchased Engaging Minds for Learning in May 2019 and moved the store back to its original location in the Ross Glen Business Park. This was a great addition to our business by adding teaching and learning supplies. So if you are looking for classic toys, games, candy or teaching and learning supplies stop by the store or check out our online store. We offer two unique specialty shops at one convenient location and its about to get more convenient. Adding Engaging Minds for Learning we now offer learning resources and supplies for educators, childcare providers and families.
We are now offering individual shopping experiences by appointment only for folks wanting to be extra precautious during these trying times. Yes that’s right, you can book your own shopping experience and have the store all to yourself. This is our way to show you we have your safety and well-being as our highest priority. We also offer free local delivery over $50 in purchase and curbside pickup. Come on in during regular business hours or message us to book your individual shopping experience or shop online.

Another cool fundraising opportunity is to sell pre made popcorn or cotton candy in a wide variety of flavours.
