With collaboration between partners, members, sponsors. Helping to find a new culturally accepted way to conduct business in stores, restaurants and in agriculture to name a few.
By campaigning reducing foods and packaging waste awareness in rural and urban communities. But how do you get people involved ? People are so busy with their day to day lives, running, working to put food on the table and take care of their families. Food waste and plastic waste are big issues globally, environmental issues are not at the forefront. Recycling and composting takes times and money, time that people don’t have because of their busy life, money that they don’t have or have that doesn’t want to spend on the environment. Rural and Urban communities are way behind the City centers in their efforts to reduce foods and goods waste, reduce plastic waste. In order to get people to participate and give time, they need to be educated and incentivized. Without people participation the chain the pipeline is incomplete. We need these people, the busy families, fundraisers, groups, they are the carbon footprint creator. We have to start there and push them they can instill this into the next generation.
