Other capabilities we have include: videography, graphic design, and freelance writing. The owner, Kevin, also serves as a freelance correspondent with the Castor Advance and Stettler Independent newspapers.

The Purple Platypus

The Purple Platypus is a secondhand bookstore in Central Alberta. We provide good to excellent condition used books for a fair and low price to readers, keeping them from the landfill. We house a large selection of all types and genres of books in a cozy space on Main Street Castor.
